While I agree that Travolta made this movie, you are selling Slater and Mathis short. I really liked them, especially Slater, who I don't particularly care for. I really bought Slater as the action hero. He never really was this good again. And because Travolta was so in control, it really made me root for Slater. And what about Giles? And Red from that 70s show? so many good character actors.

bite your tongue! everything in broken arrow is spectacular! the casting, the dialogue, the action, making Christian Slater a stud. (although I did enjoy him in Hard Rain, too) Normally, Slater is too weaselly and sarcastic to make a good lead. But Broken Arrow was awesome. I recently found it on DVD and have watched it a couple of time since. "You probably thought I was just a computer nerd, didn't you? I was a Navy Seal!"

My timeline theory. Original timeline: Judgment day happens. No John Connor. Some of the very few survirors managed to steal a time machine from Skynet. Kyle Reese is sent back in time in the faint hope that he can give humanity a second chance. A Terminator goes after him which Kyle is unaware of. New timeline: Reese starts dating a girl named Sarah Connor in 1984. The Terminator finds Reese after several months but Reese managed to destroy it. Sarah saw this happen and Kyle explains everything. They have John, train him to be ready for the horrible future. A second Terminator appears and kills Kyle and Sarah but John managed to destroy it. Judgment day happens. John leads a powerful resistance against Skynet. A Terminator is sent back to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese is sent back to protect her. New timeline: Events very similar to T1 takes place but somewhat differently. Doomsday happens. Bunch of shit is sent back in time. New timeline: Genesys takes place. Events very similar to T2 take place. Dark Fate takes place. Not Skynet but Legion happens. The new savior turns out to be a pretty useless resistance leader so they send back some dude to protect John Connor. New timeline: John is saved. Some dude got killed.Through convoluted events Legion doesn't happen but Skynet and Judgment day does. T3 and Salvation take place. Reese and a Terminator is sent to 1984. Enemy Terminator and good guy Terminator is sent to 1995. The resistance is in a very strong position in this timeline and manages to defeat Skynet. Last timeline: T1 and T2 Extended Super Mega Ultimate Edition take place. Judgment day is stopped and the future becomes Star Trek. I've never seen Genesys or Dark Fate and I barely remember T3 so I'm sure this doesn't make any sense but whatever, I like it. In conclusion it ends at T2 and all the unnecessary sequels are actually unnecessary prequels so just skip them.

The Prestige is Christopher Nolan's best movie, and its not even close. It was released in a terrible period between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight where not many people knew Nolan. If it was released after 2010's it would have made a billion and would be regarded as one of the best movies in history, which it is.

Castor is the universal receiver and Archer is the universal donor. It means that "all Castor does is take and he doesn't care who he takes from", and Archer gives in teh sense that he's a public servant and he's "given everything" to stop bad guys. One takes, the other gives. That their blood types are actual mirrors of their lives is actually very clever.

So... honestly I liked this movie I went in hoping to see Linda Hamilton on screen with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's a Terminator, so what do we expect other than have a robot come back in time to kill someone and we can't let that happen. That's the Terminator movies, I don't see why that's a problem. The new Terminator was pretty cool. I guess what I'm saying is I got what I was hoping for in the movie, and I thought it did a pretty good job passing the torch to the next generation. I'm not saying the movie was flawless, but I had a good time while I was there.

When I watch shit like this with a dude in his late-30's with seemingly godly hair who's also really fuckin' awkward and goofy but funny but also really fucking smart and wise and analytical of great films (barring the ones I occasionally disagree with), it's nice to know there's a dude kinda like me out there who managed to at least get somewhere good in life, kinda gives a bit of hope you can reach that kinda level one day as a nerd. Since I just turned 23 there's luckily still a lot of time. And keep shit coming. For the past 3 years before my brother or I go watch a movie, we check the spoiler free score on IMDB, Metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes and, of course, here to see if it's worth our time. Seriously man why don't people do like us? It takes like 5 mins and potentially saves you a $15 piece of shit you otherwise would've watched like After Earth. Unfortunately I got drunk for that one. But I had better judgement while stoned with The Conjuring 2. That was a pretty fuckin' good sequel, just like all the new Star Trek sequels. I lost my train of thought.
